Case study
Project overview
To refresh and give a better idea of our partnerships, we needed to review our external website.
copywriter portfolio
Collecting references
Our external website needs a refresh and better organization to allow the public to recognize our brand and a better understanding of our resources.
We did some online research and collected the references we found closer to our style
Lack of interface
Starting from the current version of our website and comparing it with the references we chose, I decided how it would look like.
Title
The title of the page "Partner Ecosystem" can give an idea of what is all about, but it can be more welcoming by adding some call-to-action phrases like "Explore our Partner Ecosystem" and maybe adding more related images to the banner.
Introduction
The current version of the website is lacking an explanation of the page. It starts straightaway with a list of companies/partners without giving more information about it.
The user landing on the page may have questions like:
Why does this page exist?
What is the Partner Ecosystem?
We need to give them an answer, easy to do by simply adding an introduction at the beginning of the page, while also showing business values.
Menu
We decided that a main menu with partnership categorization was the first thing to start from.
This part of the website is specific for the partnerships team and to ease the resources collection I created an Excel list with the main requirements and categorization, using an older version of it, and asking the team to add or remove the partnerships they deal with. I gave them a 2 weeks deadline to fill up the gaps.
Need case studies, partner's quotes and more call to action
To make the landing page more interesting, I decided to add some showcases, a partner's quote, and a section for the Partner Program, where whoever is interested in joining can ask for access through email or read more information.
For case studies, partner's quotes, and more I created a file and asked the team to fill up the gaps in two weeks' time.
The updated version of the website is not live yet, but that's how I thought it will look like
